There's nothing like coming home on a dark wintry night and finding a Christmas package on your doorstop. I used to love when my parents received the Harry and David's towers from colleagues. I got to go through one box at a time, discovering a new little treat with each package.
This year, I'm thinking of sending something a little more gourmet. And thanks to Cooks Illustrated and America's Test Kitchen, I've gotten some great recommendations!

There are times I have bought things and forgotten about them. Then they magically appear on my doorstep! I love this! I still hold out the hope, even in my older years, that Santa will come to my home and leave something for me. It doesn't even have to be under my tree, it can be on my doorstep. But alas...
